1.
Tall black shadow looking down on me Open up my eyes and let me see Tall black shadow looking down on me Open up the skies and set me free He said, “If this weather don't turn around by morning time I may as well get some” Tall black shadow cast a spell on me Opened up my mind and let me see Tall black shadow cast a spell on me Open up my lungs and let me breathe He said, “If this weather don't turn around by morning time I may as well get some” 'Cause I've been running for days.
2.
Made your love in all those ways, hashing slumber, passion stays. Your music sweet, your passion child; Shed your skin and crawl on out of it. Feels different, but it's just the same, cause baby don't burn when she feels the flame. Make it cardinal, okay, love? Take it down, call it whatever you want. You kiss the shade, you make it shy; Shed your skin and crawl on out of it. Feels different, but it's just the same, cause baby don't burn when she feels the flame.
3.
Like a thousand times before, she’s always coming back for more, to a tired-eyed wicked man; it was all in the master plan; that's the way it goes. Take a thousand days to crave, best try to behave yourself. I’m a tired-eyed wicked man; It was all in my master plan, that’s the way it goes.
4.
A calm, forgotten voice beneath the roaring winter sea, dim light after midnight near the sway; Your footsteps echo louder as you walk on up to me, take every step you need to burn away. You got me so high, you got me so low, Got me so I don't even know. And images are water-stained up below your needs, The last glimmer in your smile, bleeds in the wind Drowned in the flood of our youth-stained trapeze: the actors in the action setting-in. You got me so high, you got me so low, Got me so I don't even know.

Take My Time 03:54
I'm gonna take my time, it’s not like I need a break; I’m tired of hanging on the line and that was my big mistake. I'm gonna take my time, it’s not like I need a break; I’m tired of hanging on the line, gonna make all the words seem right. His baby got a blue eye coming, he’s as cold as the ice he's breaking on her mind, got to leave her behind; gonna make all the words seem right and I, I’m gonna take my time. I'm gonna take my time, It’s not like I need a break; Tired and hanging on the line and that was my big mistake. I'm gonna take my time, it’s not like I need a break; Tired and hanging on the line, gonna make all the words seem right. His baby got a boy-child coming, it's as cold as the life she's faking in her mind; gonna leave her behind, gonna make all the words seem right and I, I’m gonna take my time. I'm gonna take my time, it's not like I need the break.

Take me out in a boat on a river. babe, don't ever go to sleep. I’ve got a friend who got caught in the water - don't ever row to deep. Take me out in a boat on a river. babe, don't ever go to sleep. I got something, something to deliver. I deliver the shivers out in a boat on a river. I need a place where the over man sits waiting over man, Somewhere on a stage between my eyes. I need a place where the over man sits waiting over man, Somewhere on a stage between my eyes, it's waiting there. I need a place where the stars still write the history of our sky, Somewhere on a stage between your eyes.

There's a bright light shining in the road up there. Orpheus, Eurydice - their souls woven for tragedy, buckled at the wedding bells so silently as She did wonder. Bitten by a snake, while so the venom coarsing-twisting, As She wept out She could here Persephone insisting "Hell is waiting!" I said, "Your hell is waiting behind your eyes!" There's a bright light shining in the road up there. So Orpheus descended every step to to play His song To find a way to tease the gods to let Him take Her - His bride of old, his loving shoulder, he would make alive again; grabbed her by the hand and led Her up to the land. Well, hell is waiting behind her eyes. There's a bright light shining in the road up there. So just beyond the final bend as hell returned to earth A hero now so anxious for his love had made to turn around And as he did the pale reflection of Eurydice caught flame; She disappeared once more into the hell from which she came. "Your hell is waiting behind your eyes!" There's a bright light shining in the road up there. "Hell is waiting! Your hell is waiting behind your eyes!"
